Email is the whole system: [email protected]. One person reads it, so a reply usually takes a day or two rather than minutes.
What’s useful to send
Most of the mail I get is about a price that didn’t match. That report is far easier to act on with the hotel name, the dates you looked at, what this site showed, and what the portal showed. A screenshot of the portal’s price page settles it fastest.
The other things I want to hear about: a hotel that has joined or left a program and isn’t reflected here yet, a hotel filed under the wrong city or program, a booking link that lands somewhere odd, and any change to a card’s hotel credit or perks. The guides carry an updated date for a reason. When an issuer changes its terms I’d rather fix the page the same week than find out from a search result six months later.
What I can’t help with
Bookings, cancellations, refunds, statement credits that haven’t posted, and card applications. None of that runs through this site. Every booking link here opens Chase Travel, Amex Travel, Bilt, Capital One Travel, Citi Travel, or Leading Hotels of the World, and those are the people who hold your reservation and your money. Credit Stays isn’t affiliated with JPMorgan Chase, American Express, Bilt Rewards, Capital One, Citigroup, or The Leading Hotels of the World, and I can’t see your account.
Before you write
Two things answer most questions. How our prices work explains why a number here can differ from the portal’s, and the program guides cover what each card’s hotel benefit actually requires. The privacy page covers what this site does and doesn’t collect, which is very little.
