Bilt’s Home Away From Home, explained

Home Away From Home is Bilt’s entry in the curated-luxury-hotel race — its answer to Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts and Chase’s Edit. Launched in July 2025 and built on Virtuoso, the luxury travel network, it lists more than 1,700 hotels worldwide. Two things make it the odd one out among the programs on this site: you book at bilt.com rather than a card issuer’s travel portal, and access is gated by Bilt member status, not by which credit card you hold.

The package

Stays come with the familiar set: daily breakfast for two, up to a $100 property credit per stay, and a room upgrade with early check-in and late checkout when available. There’s no program-wide minimum stay for the package — it applies to a single night — which is why HAFH prices on this site are shown per night.

Who gets access

Gold and Platinum Bilt members have full access, whatever Bilt card they hold — or none. Since March 2026, Blue and Silver members can unlock one Home Away From Home booking per month for $95 in Bilt Cash.

Bilt Cash can also be spent on the stays themselves: Blue and Silver members can apply up to $50 a month toward a booking, Gold and Platinum up to $100 — though that redemption requires a two-night stay. It’s a separate rule from the stay package, which has no minimum.

The card credits

Bilt’s 2026 card lineup adds hotel credits that work across Bilt Travel, Home Away From Home included: the Obsidian card ($95 annual fee) carries $100 a year, and the Palladium card ($495) carries $400 a year.
