The Premier Collection: Venture X’s quiet luxury program
The Premier Collection is Capital One’s curated luxury program — hotels, resorts, and a slice of vacation rentals — open to Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders and booked through Capital One Travel. It gets less attention than Amex FHR or Chase’s Edit, which is part of the appeal: the same idea, with quieter competition for the good dates.
The package
Premier stays carry daily breakfast for two, a $100 experience credit to use on property, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a room upgrade with early check-in and late checkout when available. Benefits apply per room, per stay, and there’s no program-wide minimum night count — a specific hotel can ask for more, but the program doesn’t. That’s why Premier prices here are shown per night.
Earning and credits
Bookings earn 10X miles on hotels (5X on the vacation rentals) through Capital One Travel. And the Venture X’s $300 annual travel credit applies to Capital One Travel bookings generally, the Premier Collection included — so a stay you were taking anyway gets cheaper by whatever credit you have left.
Against FHR and the Edit
The package sits closest to FHR’s: the same $100 credit idea, the same breakfast for two. FHR still holds the one perk nobody matches — the guaranteed 4pm checkout — and a deeper hotel list. The Premier Collection counters with a much cheaper card behind it and a travel credit that applies to any Capital One Travel booking, not just these hotels.
